Death Valley

One of my first experiences in "experiential science" began in Death Valley National Park.  My first significant research project in the southwest, USA, and my first real appreciation for the beauty of landscape geomorphology.

My North American Favorites (excluding the Southwest)

More of my past: Throughout my life I have traveled the western half of the United States and Canada trying to find the most beautiful places imaginable.  This is where my love for the west, the mountains, the scenery, and nature all began.  I have to thank my incredible parents for pushing me to explore these places and taking me to many of them as a child.  Thank you Mom and Dad! If not for you I would not be where I am at today...

Europe

More of my past: For a brief period of my life I had the wonderful opportunity of living and studying in London, England.  London served as a focal point of a series of adventures across Europe and this time of my life changed me forever.  It was on this journey that I found my career and found my future. 2004-2005.

Argentina and Chile

Just a bit of my past adventures... exploring and doing sedimentary basin research in the Andes Mountains and following Charles Darwin and the Incas.  Malbec wine, beautiful scenery and both cultural and scientific historical significance of the area made it beyond comparison in the travels I've done to date.  I hope to go back and finish the work that I mentally began along the terraces of the Rio Mendoza.  Spring, 2008.
